Michael’s focus in The Mentor Group is coaching project management and project leadership with emphasis in sustainable organizational improvement. Prior to The Mentor Group, he was responsible for championing and coaching capital project stewardship and leadership behaviors for Chevron Asia South. During his tenure with Unocal, he coached a project which was awarded the prestigious PMI Project of the Year runner up. Over his 30 year career, he has developed and implemented successful project management systems for various companies, including: oil and gas companies, financial institutions, nuclear power plants, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure. Michael is a licensed Master Neurolinguistics Programming (NLP) Coach and Executive Coach. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by the Project Management Institute and a regular lecturer of project management at the College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) in

Stephen Vianelli, PMP – Vice President Operations
Stephen has 30 years of experience, 15 of them in Asia, working in Engineering, Project and Construction Management. The programs and projects he has managed, led and supervised include refineries, gas/oil separation plants, pipelines, power plants (nuclear, coal, combined cycle gas turbine), and commercial buildings. Four programs/projects were valued at over US $1 Billion and three at over US $100 Million. He has developed project management training programs for PLN, the Indonesian Power Authority, and for 3D/International. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) by the Project Management Institute; a guest lecturer of project management at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and an Adjunct Professor at Manhattan College in New York City. He has an International Executive MBA from Sasin, is on the Sasin Alumni Association Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and did his master’s studies in structural dynamics at North Carolina State University. Stephen is the Thailand Correspondant for the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and the Student Recruitment Committee co-chairperson for ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).
